Cooking up some pretend food together at Jonah's new kitchen.
Daniel thought Brooke's mommy was one funny mommy!
Give this boy a ball or two and some trains and he is happy as a clam.
Riley shared his choo-choos so nicely with Daniel and their other friends.
Silly Riley made a smooshy face in his play tent.
Daniel thought that was a brilliant idea and joined in.
Daniel found a birthday hat and was happy to wear it, but I think he's wondering where the cake is now.
Katherine made a new friend, RJ. He's 5 and cute, which is just her type except without yellow hair. They had a great time playing together most of the morning.
She's got style!
Hand, hand, fingers, thumb, one hand one hand drumming on a drum! One of D's favorite books.
Daniel and Jonah
This shows how gosh darn TALL Daniel is for his age! Aya (yellow shirt) is 6 weeks older and Lily (pink shirt) is about 2 months older than him.
The weather was a beautiful 62F and sunny this afternoon, and luckily it was a day that Brendan got home early from work. After the kids got up from naps, we packed everyone up including Inky and headed to Trexler Park for a walk. It had been a long time since we had Inky there, and he was LOVING roaming around and sniffing everything. Lots of other people had there dogs there also, so Katherine enjoyed petting many of them. She's always so good about asking the owners "May I please pet your dog?" so she knows if they're friendly.
Katherine modeled the new springtime hat I made for her.
Both kids loved playing on and running around this big tree.
Daniel got tired during our stroll and decided his sissy's lap looked like a nice place to rest his head.
We finished off our trip to the park by feeding the ducks. Daniel said "quack quack" at them and Katherine was calling them over saying "Here, mommy duck!" or "Here, Daddy duck" to the female and male mallard ducks. One duck came out of the pond and ate some bread right from Katherine's hand!
