Katherine decided to make a big mess of her fluffernutter at lunch today, smearing it all over her lips. When I asked her what she was trying to do, she answered rather matter-of-factly, "I'm being dirty girl!". Yepper, dirty indeed.
Daniel has become obsessed with the sliding door to the patio. That was fine when he only had the ability to unlock and relock it, but now he's strong enough to slide it waaay open himself! Brendan came home with a piece of wood that one of the guys at the mill made for us to stick in the track, so we're hoping that throws off his game for a while.
This evening we went to Lehigh Country Club to meet with the membership committee. The "interview", if you can even call it that, went great, and Katherine had a great time playing with our neighbor Clare while we were gone. Katherine must have asked me 50 times during the day if it was "Clare day", and she cried when Clare had to leave. That's the sign of two things: a good babysitter and being overtired. ;) One of Katherine's favorite things they did was play this game that Clare brought over.
